Church Has Left the Building

Our 2019 projects were rewarding and fun.  Just see!

Church Has Left the Building 2020 has taken on a different look due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.

This year it will truly be a “Left the Building” event with no activities occurring in the building. Unfortunately, we will not be able to the major event with Rise Against Hunger. We have added many more projects to make up for the loss of our major project. We are encouraging family units to work together as a group on the larger projects such as food drives. There will be lots of fun projects that individuals and shut-ins can do with minimal amounts of effort such as card writing to missionaries and though who need encouragement.

Here are just a few of the projects you can join in:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Feeding 5000
  • Christian Caring Center
  • Urban Promise Camden Forward Schools
  • Carol’s House
  • Foster the Family
  • Letter writers shut ins
  • Letter writers to troops/veterans
  • Seeds of Hope
  • Shoe boxes college students
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • Church Clean up
  • Plarm Makers
  • Urban Promise International
  • Photography/Video team
  • Logistics/Organizing Team
The projects are menu driven and those that have unlimited numbers may be done in conjunction with a second activity if the individuals would like. We will have teams doing activities for various ministries that are supported by FPCM. Each ministry will have a captain and can have various teams working simultaneously. Each group will be asked to send photos in for a virtual celebration video of the event.
